What Every CHRO Should Know About Health Benefits and Wellbeing

Chris Goldsmith will use a facilitation technique called “crowd sourcing” to surface the most important health benefit and human wellbeing concepts CHROs should have in their toolkit. The session will be lively, interacting and involving for all attendees; everybody plays a role.

Key Learnings will Emerge in the Following Topics

1. ACA and the Excise Tax; yes, it's back!

2. Labor cost trends: looking backward and forward at the pay / health benefits mismatch.

3. What is this transition from "Volume to Value" in health care? Why is it moving so slowly?

4. Why do benefit communications misread employee decision-making?

5. Which benefit design/communication conventions should you defy to enhance consumerism?

6. How does HR practitioner wellbeing relate to your organization's effectiveness?



Chris Goldsmith advises private and public sector organizations on organizational effectiveness, compensation, benefits and human wellbeing initiatives. At Sibson Consulting, a member of The Segal Group, he is Vice President and Senior Consultant. He is the firm's thought leader on applied behavioral economics, a member of the Wellness Leadership Group and a member of the Higher Education Leadership Team. He truly enjoys being involved in collective bargaining as the group dynamics and personalities are always interesting and a challenge.

This activity will be submitted for Recertification Credit Hours through HR Certification Institute's® (HRCI®) and SHRM.
