Session Title: The Impact of Marketing and Technology on Talent Acquisition
Learning Objectives: Learn how: HR and Talent Acquisition can best partner with marketing, companies are leveraging technology to improve their Talent Acquisition results, analytics are driving Talent Acquisition’s decision making and budget, social media is most effectively leveraged across generations to drive talent into your organization, and employment brands are effectively built and leveraged by Talent Acquisition.
Our panel will discuss how marketing and technology has changed the world of talent acquisition. They will share their real-life experiences and how they have helped their organizations best tie together marketing and technology to deliver results to their clients or employers. Our diverse panel includes talent acquisition professionals from respected, growing employers, social media experts, brand professionals, and talent acquisition technology and service providers. All of the hot topics impacting companies’ talent acquisition strategies will be covered including social media, analytics, employment branding, sourcing, on-boarding, generational gaps, and much, much more. Not to mention, the event will be in an exclusive room at field-level at First Energy Stadium, the home of the Cleveland Browns. Panelists will include:
Amanda Cruz, Digital Recruiting & Analytics Consultant at Key Bank, one of the nation’s largest financial services companies providing investment management, retail and commercial banking, consumer finance and investment banking products to individuals and companies. As another Buckeye grad (I-O) from Buffalo, NY, she is focused on employer brand & recruitment marketing strategy and partners with Key’s brand and digital marketing teams on driving articulation of and candidate engagement with Key’s employer brand. Amanda also works with candidate experience initiatives and had led large-scale Lean Six Sigma project aimed at quickly identifying and executing on core candidate experience improvement opportunities. She studies analytics that lead to the growth of data-driven decision-making in Talent Acquisition along with vendor management by overseeing Key’s relationships with recruitment solution vendors, including the ongoing review and vetting of emerging recruiting tech solutions.
Jane Frires, Social Media Analyst & Consultant at AmTrust Financial Services, Inc., a multinational property and casualty insurance company which operates in three segments around the globe: Small Commercial Business Insurance, Specialty Risk and Extended Warranty, and Specialty Middle-Market Property and Casualty Program Insurance. She creates content and social media marketing strategies for the Recruiting & Human Resources department and manages the AmTrust Careers social media platforms including, but not limited to, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, Google+, Pinterest & LinkedIn. Jane implements social recruiting campaigns, community outreach, online reputation management, internal & external communications and employee involvement. She is a graduate of Ohio University.
Shenna Gonzalez, Program Manager, Brand Activation and Creative Services with Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO) at ADP, Inc., a service company that offers payroll, benefits and regulatory compliance to talent management and analytics that helps their clients succeed by being the most experience HR providers offering recruit-to-retire services and solutions. Since 2006, She has worked in ADP’s recruitment solutions specializing in assisting clients in activating their employment brand in the market place to attract and engage talent. She helps clients develop a strategy to highlight individual business employment value propositions, positioning them externally to attract and engage both active and passive talent using a variety of tools, techniques and platforms, such as career-site development, videos, social media, talent communities and other recruitment marketing tools. She lives in Findley, has a BS in Early Childhood Education from The University of Findley, and has the following AIRS certifications: CIR, CDR, CSSR, CSMR.
Bryan R. Gordon, Manager, Marketing Programs at Upward Brand Interactions, an interactively-inspired, integrated marketing agency which drives brand interactions that help create client success. As an Ohio State grad and residing in Columbus, Bryan knows the power of a great brand (O-H). He is a digital agency leader delivering exceptional results to clients spanning B2B, healthcare, higher education and more. Bryan is a product owner for a suite of services including digital and content strategy, social media, marketing automation, content development and marketing analytics. He is versatile and experienced as a client consultant, marketing technologist and team manager. Some of his clients include Eaton, John Carroll University, Parker Hannifin, PolyOne, University Hospitals and many more. Bryan has HubSpot Partner, Google Analytics IQ and Google AdWords certifications.
Abby Lewis, Talent Acquisition Manager at Oswald Companies, one of the nation's largest independent, employee-owned insurance brokerage firms that is a proud member of Assurex Global, the world's largest association of privately held insurance brokers. Abby lives in Maumee, OH and commutes weekly to Cleveland serving all talent acquisition needs of a growing insurance brokerage firm. She brings an energetic spirit to her role and has delivered great results in her first year with Oswald. Abby has diverse talent acquisition experience from sourcing, on-boarding, executive recruitment, interviewing, social media, and the list goes on. Her prior work experience includes companies like MassMutual Ohio and Enterprise. She is a Falcon as a graduate of Bowling Green State University.
