Are you new to the HR working world, trying to find your way in Corporate America?  Or, have you been working in HR for a while and trying to figure out how you take that next big step in your career?  Having a Mentor might be just what you are looking for!

If you’ve been in HR for a few years and enjoy giving back to the HR community, why not mentor an entry-level HR person?  Or, if you are a senior manager – you have great experience and a solid knowledge base - why not share some of your experiences with mid-level HR people trying to make that leap into senior management?

If you can relate to any of the above, consider participating in CSHRM’s Mentoring Program!  Benefits for Mentees & Mentors include:

·         Entry-Level Mentees –

o        Start to establish your professional network

o        Increase awareness of the issues HR professionals face

o        Gain professional support and encouragement from your mentor

o        Grow your confidence, competence, and professional identity to start your HR career on the right foot

·         Mid-Level Mentees –

o        Add to your professional network

o        Problem solve the issues you face as an HR professional

o        Gain professional support and encouragement from your mentor

o        Grow your confidence, competence, and professional identity to achieve a higher level of HR success

·        Mid-Level Mentors –

o        Develop and support someone new to the HR field

o        Meet new talent and share expertise

o        Enhance your own coaching, communication and leadership skills

o        Engage in a meaningful volunteer opportunity

·        Senior-Level Mentors –

o        Motivate and support someone trying to move to the next career level

o        Share your successes and tips for getting to the top
