in the 21st Century Workplace
Meeting Sponsored by:
Date: Wednesday, February 20, 2019 (11:30 AM - 1:30 PM) - Live Webcast Also Available
Time and time again we see organizational outcomes both good and bad being driven by the quality of the communication in conversations, emails, and meetings. It is the everyday moments of communication that make us or break us when it comes to achieving our organizational goals. Technology has only made it more complicated. What’s more, we now have multiple generations in the workplace with different preferences and expectations. And unfortunately, most people think they are much better communicators than they actually are, so little attention or effort is put forth in getting better. You can equip your team with the skills and behaviors needed to CREATE the culture that market leaders demand and that team members want. It is a culture of loyalty and leadership that impacts performance and the ROI goes right to the bottom line. Your strategy for growth won’t succeed unless you master leadership and culture and the NEW rules for communicating in the 21st century workplace.
1. Recognize the critical role that communication plays in either building or destroying organizational culture.
2. Assess current mid-level managers' communication abilities to execute on strategic vision.
3. Understand the foundations of effective communication.
4. Learn a simple method to communicate effectively with all personality types.
5. Identify a strategy to equip team members and leaders with proper skills to: Lead, engage, hold team members accountable and drive results.
