Virtual Learning: Happiness @TheSpeedofLife: Five Prescriptions for Living and Leading in a VUCA-Pandemic World
Thank You to Our Event Sponsor:
The idea of VUCA (Volatility, Uncertainty, Complexity, Ambiguity) is decades old, but we’re now immersed in a living VUCA laboratory! This talk will provide you foundational principles for living and leading a happier, more balanced life in a world gone crazy! You will leave with five specific actions you can practice to improve the strength of your “positive emotional muscles” and increase your experience of happiness in life, work, and the grey in-between. If you function as a leader in an organization, these practices will help you better engage others and build a more positive workplace.
You will also learn how much control you really have over your attitude, even in the worst of times. Why is this important to you? Hey, happier people make better partners, parents, and friends, as well as better leaders and HR business partners. It starts with you!
Our learning objectives for the event will be:
- Learn about the science behind Happiness (positive emotions) and employee engagement
- Make the connection between personal habits and the capacity for managing stress
- Take away (and practice) several workplace tools for creating positive affect
This program has been submitted for SHRM and HRCI recertification credit hour.
