Join Deb Banion, Senior Consulting Director at Truven Health Analytics, part of the IBM Watson Health business, for a discussion on the current and future state of medical plan analytics. In this session, learn best practice techniques to tell your story, integrating complex data in a simple format through careful choice of relevant metrics and benchmarks that point to action.
About our Presenter:
Deborah Banion has been with Truven Health Analytics, now part of the IBM Watson Health business, since 1997. She is responsible for leading analytic teams across the nation in the development of actionable metrics and “next steps” recommendations to drive business decisions. Ms. Banion is a frequent facilitator of client information strategy sessions and is an expert in crafting information solutions to support customers’ needs.
Throughout her tenure, Ms. Banion has helped customers drive a triple aim strategy by maximizing the value and quality of their decision support studies. She is a frequent contributor to our thought leadership team, and is currently collaborating with our National Solutions group to enhance population health metrics for tracking the impact of wellness interventions. She is also engaged in continuous enrichment of our condition management program evaluations, and building business cases to support investment in employee resiliency and mental health.
Ms. Banion has over 35 years of experience across all sectors of the healthcare information industry. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology and a Master’s degree in Public Administration from the University of Missouri, Kansas City..
